We will hold our annual one-day Santa Madness Sale on Saturday, December 2nd! Come in for great savings on most items in the store including R/C vehicles, planes, helicopters, drones, boats, and R/C accessories, plus plastic models, model railroading, die cast, rockets, and more! This sale will be during our normal business hours of 10am – 6pm. Don’t miss it!
We have added the popular Bandai Gundam model kits to our excellent selection of plastic models. They have been a real hit, and we will be bringing in more!
The Dromida Vista is an excellent beginner quadcopter (or drone) priced at $79.99, with everything included that is needed to fly. It features 4 flight modes that can be set depending on the pilot’s skill level, and is capable of flips at the touch of a button. With a diagonal size of 9.8″ and a weight of 4.3oz, it has enough size, weight, and power to go outdoors in light winds. We carry replacement parts and extra batteries in stock for it. An FPV camera will be available as an upgrade early next year.
Our favorite beginner R/C cars are made by Traxxas. The Bandit ($179.99), Rustler ($189.99), Stampede ($199.99), and Slash ($229.99-$249.99) all come ready-to-run with 2.4GHz transmitter, 8.4V battery, and quick charger included. They feature water-resistant electronics, great parts support, and 30+mph speeds out of the box. The included charger only plugs into an automobile’s 12V accessory outlet, so a wall adapter is available for the charger for $26.99. For even more performance, we carry the brushless versions of these vehicles as well.
Hobby Haven is proud to announce that we are now carrying Spaz Stix paint formulated for Lexan R/C car bodies.
These paints include Ultimate Mirror Chrome, Color-Change paints, Fluorescent and Candy Colors, as well as regular solid colors. They are available in spray cans or in bottles for airbrushing.
Today we received a shipment of FMS 1400mm Plug and Play Foam Warbirds, including a P-51D Mustang in Big Beautiful Doll markings, a P-51B Mustang in Shangri-La markings, a T-28 Trojan, an A6M Zero, and a B-25 Mitchell. These beautifully finished airplanes include electric retractable landing gear.
